In mathematics, the lattice is a nonempty finite subset of which has an upper bound (called and) and a partial set (poset). The lattice can also be characterized as an algebraic structure that satisfies a particular axiom algebra. Because the two definitions are equivalent, the lattice theory extracts the content from both the theory and the generic algebra. The semiclass includes the lattice, followed by the Haying algebra and the boolean algebra.
