Country and revolution
"The State and the Revolution" was written by Vladimir Lenin in his refuge in Finland from August to September 1917. It was the decisive work of the first phase of the Russian revolution in 1917 (the February Revolution) and the second stage (October Revolution). This book stands out from other contemporary works and is considered to be a key to understanding Lenin's thinking about the future and mission of the Russian revolution.
