Lund
Lund (Swedish: Lund) is a city in the southern province of Skåne, Sweden. The city was built around about 990, when the area was owned by Denmark. 1103 Lund's Cathedral stands and becomes the Archbishop's station, and Lund has quickly become the Nordic Christian Center. Lund is also the headquarters of the University of Lund, the University of Scandinavia's largest education and research institutions. The city currently has a total of about 74,000 inhabitants, which does not include all temporary students. The Lund Autonomous Region has 102,257 inhabitants, which include some of the surrounding towns and villages, especially east.
