Amplificador
Un amplificador, amplificador o amplificador electrónico es un dispositivo electrónico que aumenta la potencia de una señal. Esto lo hace tomando energía de una fuente de alimentación y controlando la salida para que coincida con la forma de la señal de entrada pero con una amplitud mayor. En este sentido, un amplificador modula la salida de la fuente de alimentación. Existen cuatro tipos básicos de amplificador electrónico: el amplificador de tensión, el amplificador de corriente, el amplificador de transconductancia y el amplificador de transresistencia. Otra distinción es si la salida es una representación lineal o no lineal de la entrada. Los amplificadores también pueden clasificarse por su ubicación física en la cadena de señales.
