Antropocentrismo / ˌænθrɵpɵsɛntrɪzəm / es la creencia de que los seres humanos son la especie central o más significativa en el planeta, o la evaluación de la realidad a través de una perspectiva exclusivamente humana. El término puede usarse indistintamente con el humanocentrismo, y algunos se refieren al concepto como supremacía humana o "excepcionalismo humano". El principio de la mediocridad es lo opuesto al antropocentrismo. El antropocentrismo se considera profundamente arraigado en muchas culturas humanas modernas y actos conscientes.
