Anzac Day / ænzæk / es un día nacional de recuerdo en Australia y Nueva Zelanda que conmemora en general a todos los australianos y neozelandeses "que sirvieron y murieron en todas las guerras, conflictos y operaciones de mantenimiento de la paz" y "la contribución y el sufrimiento de todos los que han Servido ". Originalmente el 25 de abril de cada año era para honrar a los miembros del cuerpo de ejército de Australia y Nueva Zelanda que lucharon en Gallipoli en el Imperio Otomano durante la Primera Guerra Mundial. El día de Anzac también se observa en las Islas Cook, Niue, Pitcairn y Tonga. Ya no se observa como una fiesta nacional en Papua Nueva Guinea o Samoa.
