Aragón
Aragón es una comunidad autónoma en España, coextensiva al reino medieval de Aragón. Situada en el noreste de España, la comunidad autónoma aragonesa comprende tres provincias: Huesca, Zaragoza y Teruel. Su capital es Zaragoza. El actual Estatuto de Autonomía declara a Aragón una nacionalidad de España. La provincia de Huesca, en el norte de Aragón, limita con Francia y está situada en medio de los Pirineos. Dentro de España, la comunidad está flanqueada por Cataluña al este, Valencia y Castilla-La Mancha al sur, Castilla y León, La Rioja y Navarra al oeste. Con una superficie de 47.719 km2, el territorio de la región se extiende de forma diversa desde glaciares permanentes hasta valles verdes, ricas praderas y huertos, hasta las áridas llanuras esteparias de las tierras bajas centrales. Aragón es el hogar de muchos ríos, especialmente el río Ebro, el río más grande de España en volumen, que se extiende al oeste-este a través de toda la región a través de la provincia de Zaragoza. También es el hogar de la Aneto, la montaña más alta de los Pirineos. A partir de 2012, la población de Aragón era de 1.349.467, con algo más de la mitad de ella viviendo en Zaragoza, su capital.
