Argos
Argos es una ciudad y un antiguo municipio en Argolis, Peloponeso, Grecia. Desde la reforma del gobierno local 2011 forma parte del municipio Argos-Mykines, del que es una unidad municipal. Está a 11 kilómetros de Nafplion, que era su puerto histórico. Una casa de gran antigüedad, Argos ha sido habitada continuamente como al menos un pueblo sustancial durante los últimos 7.000 años. La ciudad es un miembro de la red de ciudades europeas más antiguas. En una ubicación estratégica en la fértil llanura de Argólida, Argos fue una fortaleza importante durante la época micénica.
