Bono exigible
Un bono exigible es un tipo de bono que permite al emisor del bono conservar el privilegio de redimir el bono en algún momento antes de que el bono alcance su fecha de vencimiento. En otras palabras, en la fecha de la convocatoria, el emisor tiene el derecho, pero no la obligación, de recomprar los bonos de los tenedores de bonos a un precio de compra definido. Técnicamente hablando, los bonos no son realmente comprados y mantenidos por el emisor, sino que en su lugar son cancelados inmediatamente. El precio de la llamada normalmente excederá el precio de par o de emisión. En algunos casos, principalmente en el mercado de deuda de alto rendimiento, puede haber una prima de compra sustancial. Por lo tanto, el emisor tiene una opción que paga por ofrecer una mayor tasa de cupón. Si las tasas de interés en el mercado han bajado en el momento de la fecha de la llamada, el emisor será capaz de refinanciar su deuda a un nivel más barato y por lo que será incentivado a llamar a los bonos que emitió originalmente. Otra forma de ver esta interacción es que, a medida que bajan las tasas de interés, el precio de los bonos aumenta; Por lo tanto, es ventajoso comprar los bonos a su valor nominal. Con un bono exigible, los inversores tienen el beneficio de un cupón más alto de lo que habría tenido con un bono no exigible.
