En matemáticas y física, el centroide o centro geométrico de una región bidimensional es, informalmente, el punto en el que un recorte de cartón de la región podría estar perfectamente equilibrado en la punta de un lápiz, suponiendo una densidad uniforme y una gravedad uniforme campo. Formalmente, el centroide de una figura plana o forma bidimensional es la posición media aritmética de todos los puntos en la forma.
