Colangiografía
La colangiografía es la imagen del conducto biliar por rayos X. Existen al menos dos tipos de colangiografía: ▪ Colangiografía transhepática percutánea: Examen de hígado y conductos biliares por rayos X. Esto se logra mediante la inserción de una aguja fina en el hígado que lleva un medio de contraste para ayudar a ver la obstrucción en el hígado y los conductos biliares. ▪ Colangiopancreatografía retrógrada endoscópica. Aunque se trata de una forma de imagen, es a la vez de diagnóstico y terapéutico, y se clasifica a menudo con cirugías en lugar de imágenes. En ambos casos se utilizan fluidos fluorescentes para crear contrastes que hacen posible el diagnóstico. La colangiografía ha reemplazado en gran parte el método de colangiografía intravenosa previamente utilizado.
