La condensación es el cambio del estado físico de la materia de la fase del gas a la fase líquida, y es el revés de la vaporización. También se puede definir como el cambio en el estado del vapor de agua al agua líquida cuando está en contacto con cualquier superficie. Cuando la transición pasa de la fase gaseosa a la fase sólida directamente, el cambio se llama deposición.
