Cornisa
Una cornisa es generalmente cualquier moldeado decorativo horizontal que corona un edificio o elemento de mobiliario, por ejemplo, la cornisa sobre una puerta o ventana, o la cornisa alrededor del borde superior de un pedestal oa lo largo de la parte superior de una pared interior. Una simple cornisa puede ser formada sólo con una moldura de corona. La función de la cornisa proyectada de un edificio es lanzar el agua de lluvia libre de las paredes del edificio.
