Desviacionismo
Un deviationist es una persona que expresa una desviación: una anormalidad o partida. En el estalinismo, el desviatismo es una creencia expresada que no está de acuerdo con la doctrina oficial del partido para el tiempo y el área. Las acusaciones de desviación condujeron a purgas. Las formas de desviación incluían el revisionismo, el dogmatismo, el nacionalismo burgués y el cosmopolitismo sin raíces. Por ejemplo, Mao Zedong en un discurso de 1953 se refirió a los desviacionistas tanto "izquierdos" como "correctos". Años más tarde, en 1976, la llamada Cuadrilla de los Cuatro se enfrentaría a la "desviación de la derecha".
