Dialéctico
La dialéctica es un método de discusión para resolver el desacuerdo que ha sido central en la filosofía europea e india desde la antigüedad. La palabra dialéctica se originó en la antigua Grecia, y fue popularizada por Platón en los diálogos socráticos. El método dialéctico es el discurso entre dos o más personas que sostienen diferentes puntos de vista sobre un sujeto, que desean establecer la verdad de la materia guiada por argumentos razonados. El término dialéctica no es sinónimo del término debate. Mientras que en la teoría los debatedores no son necesariamente emocionalmente invertidos en su punto de vista, en la práctica los debatores frecuentemente muestran un compromiso emocional que puede nublar el juicio racional. Los debates se ganan a través de una combinación de persuadir al oponente; Probar su argumento correcto; O probar el argumento del oponente incorrecto. Los debates no necesariamente requieren identificar rápidamente a un ganador o perdedor claro; Sin embargo los ganadores claros son determinados con frecuencia por un juez, un jurado, o por el consenso del grupo. El término dialéctica tampoco es sinónimo del término retórica, método o arte del discurso que busca persuadir, informar o motivar a un público.
