Sophocles uses catalectic trimeters as period -clausulae also, however, after a
single dimeter or series of dimeters. Iambic trimeters (syncopated) catalectic are
thus employed in: Aj. 607/620. Ant. 852/871, 856/875, 9540/965, 973/984.
