Doha es la capital del estado de Qatar. Situada en la costa del Golfo Pérsico, tenía una población de 998.651 habitantes en 2008. Doha es la ciudad más grande de Qatar, con más del 60% de la población del país residiendo en Doha o sus suburbios circundantes, y también es el centro económico del país.
