Mircea Eliade
Mircea Eliade fue un historiador rumano de religión, escritor de ficción, filósofo y profesor de la Universidad de Chicago. Fue un destacado intérprete de la experiencia religiosa, que estableció paradigmas en los estudios religiosos que persisten hasta nuestros días. Su teoría de que las hierofanías forman la base de la religión, dividiendo la experiencia humana de la realidad en espacio y tiempo sagrados y profanos, ha demostrado ser influyente.
