Friedrich Nietzsche nombró esta idea con "fatalismo turco" en su libro El errante y su sombra. ▪ Que las acciones son libres, pero sin embargo trabajan hacia un fin inevitable. Esta creencia es muy similar a la predestinación compatibilista. ▪ Que la aceptación es apropiada, más que la resistencia contra la inevitabilidad. Esta creencia es muy similar al derrotismo.
