Flushwork
En la arquitectura, el enrasado es la combinación decorativa en el mismo plano plano del pedernal y de la piedra de sillería. Si la piedra se proyecta desde una pared plana de sílex, entonces el término es orgulloso, ya que la piedra está "orgullosa" en lugar de ser "nivelada" con la pared. Los edificios enrasados pertenecen al estilo Perpendicular de la arquitectura gótica inglesa. Es característica de las paredes externas de los edificios medievales - la mayoría de los sobrevivientes que son iglesias - en partes del sur de Inglaterra y especialmente East Anglia. Flushwork comienza a principios del siglo 14, pero el período máximo fue durante el auge de la lana entre alrededor de 1450 y la Reforma Inglés de la década de 1520, cuando la construcción de la iglesia prácticamente cesó y la construcción de ladrillos se puso más de moda.
