El Ganges, también Ganga, es un río transfronterizo de Asia que fluye a través de la India y Bangladesh. El río de 2.525 kilómetros se levanta en el Himalaya occidental en el estado indio de Uttarakhand, y los flujos sur y del este a través de la llanura del Ganges del norte de la India en Bangladesh, donde desemboca en la bahía de Bengala.
