Correspondientemente, la Aggadah puede ser vista como aquellas enseñanzas que comunican las tradiciones rabínicas al lector, expandiendo simultáneamente su comprensión del texto, al tiempo que fortalecen su experiencia religiosa y su conexión espiritual. La raíz también tiene el significado de "flujo", y aquí se refiere a la transmisión de ideas.
