Luis XVII de Francia
Luis XVII, desde el nacimiento hasta 1789 conocido como Louis-Charles, duque de Normandía; Luego de 1789 a 1791 como Louis-Charles, Delfín de Francia; Y de 1791 a 1792 como Louis-Charles, príncipe real de Francia, era el hijo más joven del rey Louis XVI de Francia y de la reina Marie Antoinette. Como hijo del rey, era un Fils de France. Su hermano mayor, Louis Joseph, murió en junio de 1789, pocas semanas antes del comienzo de la Revolución Francesa. Sus padres fueron ejecutados por traición bajo la primera república, haciendo que el recién huérfano ocho años de edad Louis-Charles, sucesor nominal de un trono abolido.
