La maderización es un proceso que implica el calentamiento y la oxidación de un vino. Fuera del vino de Madeira, se considera generalmente como una falta del vino, pero es deseable en el caso de ciertos vinos del postre donde ocurre durante el envejecimiento largo de la botella.
