Aviación Ultraligera
La aviación ultraligera (llamada aviación ultraligera en algunos países) es el vuelo de aviones de ala fija de 1 ó 2 asientos ligeros. Algunos países diferencian entre el cambio de peso y el avión de 3 ejes, llamando a la antigua "ultraligero" y la ultraligera "ultraligera". Durante finales de los años setenta y principios de los ochenta, sobre todo estimulados por el movimiento de ala delta, muchas personas buscaron un vuelo propulsado asequible. Como resultado, muchas autoridades de aviación establecen definiciones de aviones ligeros y de vuelo lento que podrían estar sujetos a regulaciones mínimas. Los aviones resultantes son comúnmente llamados "ultralight aircraft" o "microlights", aunque los límites de peso y velocidad difieren de un país a otro. En Europa, la definición deportiva (FAI) limita el peso máximo de despegue a 450 kg (472,5 kg) si se instala un paracaídas balístico y una velocidad de paro máxima de 65 km / h (40 mph) . La definición significa que la aeronave tiene una velocidad de aterrizaje lenta y un rollo de aterrizaje corto en caso de fallo del motor.
