QUÉ SIGNIFICA NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE EN INGLÉS

Los cuatro sistemas de asistencia sanitaria financiados con fondos públicos en los países del Reino Unido, pueden denominarse Servicio Nacional de Salud. Los sistemas se financian principalmente mediante impuestos centrales. Ofrecen una amplia gama de servicios de salud, la gran mayoría de los cuales son gratuitos en el punto de uso para las personas que residen legalmente en el Reino Unido. Los cuatro sistemas son completamente independientes y operan bajo diferentes directivos, reglas y autoridad política.
