Neolítico
La Era Neolítica, o Período, desde νέος y λίθος, o Nueva Edad de Piedra, fue un período en el desarrollo de la tecnología humana, comenzando alrededor de 10.200 AC, de acuerdo con la cronología de ASPRO, en algunas partes del Medio Oriente y más tarde en otros Partes del mundo y que termina entre 4.500 y 2.000 antes de Cristo. Tradicionalmente considerada como la última parte de la Edad de Piedra, el Neolítico siguió el período Epipaleolítico Holoceno terminal y comenzó con el comienzo de la agricultura, que produjo la "Revolución Neolítica". Terminó cuando las herramientas de metal se extendieron. El Neolítico es una progresión de características y cambios conductuales y culturales, incluyendo el uso de cultivos silvestres y domésticos y de animales domesticados. El comienzo de la cultura neolítica se considera que está en el Levante alrededor de 10,200-8,800 aC. Se desarrolló directamente a partir de la cultura epifaleolítica Natufian en la región, cuya gente fue pionera en el uso de cereales silvestres, que luego evolucionó a la verdadera agricultura. El período de Natufian estaba entre 12.000 y 10.200 AC, y el así llamado "proto-neolítico" ahora se incluye en el Neolítico Pre-Cerámica entre 10.200 y 8,800 AC.
