Nicene Creed
El Credo Niceno es la profesión de fe o credo que es más ampliamente utilizado en la liturgia cristiana. Constituye la definición principal del cristianismo para la mayoría de los cristianos. Se llama Nicene / naɪsiːn / porque, en su forma original, fue adoptada en la ciudad de Nicea por el primer concilio ecuménico, que se reunió allí en el año 325. El Credo de Nicene ha sido normativo para la Iglesia Católica, la Ortodoxa Oriental La Iglesia de Oriente, las iglesias ortodoxas orientales, la Comunión Anglicana y las denominaciones protestantes.
