En geometría diferencial, una curva osculadora es una curva plana de una familia dada que tiene el orden de contacto más alto posible con otra curva. Es decir, si F es una familia de curvas suaves, C es una curva lisa y p es un punto en C, entonces una curva osculante de F en p es una curva de F que pasa por p y tiene tantas de sus derivadas En p iguales a las derivadas de C como posibles. El término deriva de la raíz latina "osculate", besar, porque las dos curvas se contactan entre sí de una manera más íntima que la simple tangencia.
