Paratión
El paratión, también llamado paratión-etilo o dietilparatión, es un compuesto organofosforado. Es un potente insecticida y acaricida. Originalmente fue desarrollado por IG Farben en la década de 1940. Es altamente tóxico para los organismos no objetivo, incluidos los seres humanos. Su uso está prohibido o restringido en muchos países, y hay propuestas para prohibirlo de todo uso. Muy relacionado es el "metilparatión" .2PSO3C6H4NO2, un insecticida eficaz puede ser absorbido a través de la piel y ha producido una serie de muertes.
