La fisiocracia es una teoría económica desarrollada por un grupo de economistas franceses del siglo XVIII que creían que la riqueza de las naciones se derivaba únicamente del valor de la "agricultura terrestre" o "desarrollo de la tierra" y que los productos agrícolas debían tener un precio elevado. El movimiento fue particularmente dominado por François Quesnay y Anne-Robert-Jacques Turgot.
