Solarización
La solarización es un fenómeno en la fotografía en el que la imagen grabada en negativo o en una fotografía se revierte total o parcialmente en tono. Las áreas oscuras parecen claras o las áreas claras parecen oscuras. El término es sinónimo de efecto Sabattier cuando se refiere a negativos, pero es técnicamente incorrecto cuando se utiliza para referirse a impresiones. En resumen, el mecanismo se debe a los iones halógenos liberados dentro del grano de haluro por la exposición que se difunde a la superficie del grano en cantidades suficientes para destruir la imagen latente.
