Una corrida de obstáculos es una carrera de caballos a distancia en la que los competidores están obligados a saltar diversos obstáculos valla y zanja. Steeplechasing se realiza principalmente en Irlanda, el Reino Unido, Canadá, Estados Unidos, Australia y Francia.
