Crédito fiscal de trabajo
Working Tax Credit es un beneficio estatal en el Reino Unido hecho a las personas que trabajan y tienen un ingreso bajo. Es una parte del actual sistema de créditos fiscales reembolsables introducido en abril de 2003 y es un beneficio a prueba de recursos. A pesar de su nombre, los créditos fiscales no deben confundirse con los créditos fiscales vinculados a la factura de impuestos de una persona. A diferencia de la mayoría de los otros beneficios, es pagado por HM Revenue and Customs. El WTC puede ser reclamado por individuos que trabajan, parejas sin hijos y familias trabajadoras con hijos dependientes. Además, las personas también pueden tener derecho al Crédito Tributario por Hijos si son responsables de cualquier niño. WTC y CTC se evalúan conjuntamente y las familias siguen siendo elegibles para CTC incluso si no hay adulto trabajando o si tienen demasiados ingresos para recibir WTC.
