Rorippa palustris
Rorippa palustris es una especie de planta con flores en la familia de la mostaza. Es extenso y nativo de partes de África, y gran parte de Asia, Europa y Eurasia, Norteamérica y el Caribe. También se puede encontrar en otras partes del mundo como una especie introducida y una mala hierba común, por ejemplo, en Australia y América del Sur. Es una planta adaptable que crece en muchos tipos de hábitat húmedo, húmedo y acuático. Puede ser una planta anual, bienal, o perenne, y es variable en apariencia también. Produce un tallo erguido, a veces con ramas, alcanzando una altura máxima de poco más de un metro. Las hojas tienen hasta 30 centímetros de largo y tienen dentadas a los bordes profundamente lobulados. La inflorescencia es un racimo de flores de mostaza con pétalos amarillos en forma de cuchara cada uno de unos pocos milímetros de longitud. El fruto es un sicilioso dehiscente y con válvulas suaves, de hasta un centímetro de longitud, que contiene de 20 a 90 semillas.
