El dopaje se define como el uso de sustancias extrañas en el cuerpo con el propósito de mejorar el rendimiento deportivo o el consumo de sustancias anormales en cantidades anormales o sacarlas del cuerpo de maneras inusuales. La primera definición oficial de dopaje se hizo en 1963. En consecuencia, dopaje; el atleta o el atleta aumentarán artificialmente sus actuaciones durante la competencia o en la preparación para el deporte de tal manera que no coincida con la moral del deporte y el uso del material u otros métodos posibles para dañar la salud física y psicológica del atleta.
