Fréquence angulaire
En physique, la fréquence angulaire ω est une mesure scalaire du taux de rotation. Il se réfère au déplacement angulaire par unité de temps ou au taux de variation de la phase d'une forme d'onde sinusoïdale, ou en tant que taux de changement de l'argument de la fonction sinusoïdale. La fréquence angulaire est la grandeur de la vitesse angulaire de la quantité vectorielle. Le terme vecteur de fréquence angulaire est parfois utilisé comme synonyme de la vitesse angulaire de la quantité vectorielle. Une révolution est égale à 2π radians, d'où: ω est la fréquence angulaire ou la vitesse angulaire, T est la période, f est la fréquence ordinaire.
