Photographie Kirlian
La photographie Kirlian est une collection de techniques photographiques utilisées pour capturer le phénomène des décharges coronales électriques. Il est nommé d'après Semyon Kirlian qui, en 1939, a accidentellement découvert que si un objet sur une plaque photographique est relié à une source haute tension, une image est produite sur la plaque photographique. La technique a été connue sous le nom de «électrographie», «électrophotographie», «photographie de décharge corona», «bioélectrographie», «visualisation de la décharge de gaz», «imagerie électrophotonique» et, dans la littérature russe, «Kirlianographie». La photographie Kirlian a fait l'objet d'une recherche scientifique, de recherche en parapsychologie et d'art. Dans une large mesure, il a été coopté par des promoteurs de la pseudoscience, des sciences marginales et des allégations de santé paranormales dans les livres, les magazines, les ateliers et les sites Web.
