Fibrinogène
Le fibrinogène est une glycoprotéine chez les vertébrés qui aide à la formation de caillots sanguins. Il se compose d'un réseau linéaire de 3 nodules maintenus ensemble par un fil très mince qui est estimé avoir un diamètre de 8 à 15 A. Les deux nodules d'extrémité sont semblables, mais le centre est légèrement plus petit. Les mesures des longueurs d'ombre indiquent que les diamètres des nodules sont compris entre 50 et 70 A. La longueur de la molécule séchée est de 475 = t = 25 A. La molécule de fibrinogène est une glycoprotéine soluble, large et complexe, une glycoprotéine plasmatique de 340 kDa Est converti par la thrombine en fibrine pendant la formation du caillot sanguin. Il a une forme en forme de tige avec des dimensions de 9 x 47,5 x 6nm et il montre une charge nette négative au pH physiologique. Le fibrinogène est synthétisé dans le foie par les hépatocytes. La concentration de fibrinogène dans le plasma sanguin est de 200-400 mg / dL. Pendant la coagulation sanguine normale, une cascade de coagulation active la prothrombine zymogène en la transformant en la thrombine de la serine-protéase. La thrombine convertit alors le fibrinogène soluble en brins de fibrine insolubles. Ces brins sont ensuite réticulés par le facteur XIII pour former un caillot sanguin.
