Les Frescobaldi sont une famille éminente florentine noble qui a été impliqué dans l'histoire politique, sociologique et économique de la Toscane depuis le Moyen Âge. Originaire du Val di Pesa dans le Chianti, ils apparaissent occupant des postes importants à Florence au XIIe siècle.
