QUE SIGNIFIE LAW OF LARGE NUMBERS EN ANGLAIS
Droit des grands nombres
Dans la théorie des probabilités, la loi des grands nombres est un théorème qui décrit le résultat d'une même expérience à plusieurs reprises. Selon la loi, la moyenne des résultats obtenus à partir d'un grand nombre d'essais devrait être proche de la valeur attendue et aura tendance à être plus proche à mesure que d'autres essais seront effectués. Le LLN est important car il «garantit» des résultats stables à long terme pour les moyennes des événements aléatoires. Par exemple, alors qu'un casino peut perdre de l'argent en une seule rotation de la roue de roulette, ses gains tendront vers un pourcentage prévisible sur un grand nombre de tours. Toute séquence gagnante par un joueur sera finalement surmontée par les paramètres du jeu. Il est important de se rappeler que LLN ne s'applique que lorsqu'un grand nombre d'observations sont prises en considération. Il n'y a aucun principe selon lequel un petit nombre d'observations coïncidera avec la valeur attendue ou qu'une série d'une valeur sera immédiatement "équilibrée" par les autres.
