Tumeur de Wilms
La tumeur de Wilms, la tumeur de Wilms ou le néphroblastome est le cancer des reins qui se produit généralement chez les enfants, rarement chez les adultes. Il s'appelle le Dr Max Wilms, le chirurgien allemand qui l'a décrit pour la première fois. Environ 500 cas sont diagnostiqués aux États-Unis chaque année. La majorité survient chez les enfants normalement normaux; Une minorité est associée à d'autres anomalies du développement. Il répond très bien au traitement, avec environ 90% des patients ayant survécu au moins cinq ans.
