Zoroastrisme
Le zoroastrisme / ˌzɒroʊæstriənɪzəm /, également appelé Zarathustraisme, Mazdaisme et Magianisme, est une ancienne religion iranienne et une philosophie religieuse. C'était une fois la religion d'état des empires achéménide, parthien et sasanien. Les estimations du nombre actuel de Zoroastriens dans le monde varient entre 145 000 et 2,6 millions. Le zoroastrisme est apparu dans la région orientale de l'ancien Empire perse, lorsque le philosophe religieux Zoroastre a simplifié le panthéon des dieux iraniens début en deux forces opposées: Spenta Mainyu et Angra Mainyu sous le Dieu unique, Ahura Mazda. Les idées de Zoroastre ont conduit à une religion formelle portant son nom vers le 6ème siècle av. J.-C. et a influencé d'autres religions ultérieures, y compris le judaïsme, le gnosticisme, le christianisme et l'islam.
