Pydna
Pydna était une ville grecque dans l'ancienne Macédoine, la plus importante de Pieria. Pydna moderne est une petite ville et une ancienne municipalité dans la partie nord-est de l'unité régionale de Pieria, en Grèce. Depuis la réforme du gouvernement local de 2011, elle fait partie de la municipalité de Pydna-Kolindros, dont elle est une unité municipale. Pydna est situé dans des terres fertiles à proximité de la côte thermatique du golfe. Le village principal de l'ancienne municipalité est Kitros. Il se trouve à 6 km au nord de Korinos, à 8 km au sud de Methoni et à 13 km au nord-est de Katerini. L'autoroute 1 et le passage ferroviaire Piraeus-Platy à l'est du village.
