QUE SIGNIFIE QUANTUM EFFICIENCY EN ANGLAIS
Efficacité quantique
Le terme efficacité quantique peut s'appliquer au photon incident au rapport électronique converti, d'un dispositif photosensible ou il peut se référer à l'effet TMR d'une jonction de tunnel magnétique. Dans un dispositif à couplage de charge, c'est le pourcentage de photons qui frappent la surface photoréactive de l'appareil qui produit des porteurs de charge. Il est mesuré en électrons par photon ou par amplificateur par watt. QE est une mesure de la sensibilité électrique d'un appareil à la lumière. Étant donné que l'énergie d'un photon est inversement proportionnelle à sa longueur d'onde, QE est souvent mesurée sur une gamme de longueurs d'onde différentes pour caractériser l'efficacité d'un dispositif à chaque niveau d'énergie photonique. Le QE pour les photons avec de l'énergie en dessous de l'écart de bande est nul. Le film photographique a généralement un QE de beaucoup moins de 10%, tandis que les CCD peuvent avoir un QE de plus de 90% à certaines longueurs d'onde.
