Rhonchi
Rhonchi est un son respirant grossier qui ressemble à un ronflement, généralement causé par la sécrétion dans les voies respiratoires bronchiques. Rhonchi est la forme plurielle du mot singulier rhonchus. Depuis le milieu des années 1990, il n'a plus été considéré comme une terminologie appropriée dans l'auscultation du thorax, car il y a eu beaucoup de confusion dans la littérature publiée qui confond cette crépitations et les sifflements, de sorte que la nature exacte de ce terme n'est pas claire. De même, les rayons ne sont plus utilisés dans une grande partie de l'Europe, de l'Amérique du Nord et de l'Australie en ce qui concerne la description des résultats auscultats. Des termes plus appropriés pour l'auscultation du thorax sont des sons respiratoires et des sons accidentels.
