Anormal est un ensemble subjectif de caractéristiques qui leur sont données dans un état de fièvre ou de rareté. Définir qui est normal et anormal est le problème qui est contesté en psychologie anormale. Il y a quelques critères communs. Un critère simple est rarement statistique. Il a un inconvénient - le plus intelligent, honnête ou heureux est le même qu'anormal sinon. Ainsi, les habitudes anormales sont considérées comme statistiquement et indésirables. Si une personne se comporte d'une manière qui détruit son état, elle est considérée comme inadaptée. Bien qu'il soit plus strict que les critères ci-dessus, il présente également des faiblesses.
