Le léninisme est une théorie politique et économique fondée sur le marxisme. Kısacası Leninizm, Marksizmin çağın gereklerine göre hem kuramsal hem politik hem de ekonomik alanda, temel ilkelere bağlı kalarak yeniden uyarlanması olarak anlaşılır.Leninizm'in marksist geleneğe en büyük katkısı demokratik merkeziyetçi örgüt yapısını savunmasıdır. Leninizm kavramı, yeni olgular ve yeni bilimsel gelişmeler doğrultusunda Marksizmin yeniden geliştirilmesi gereği üzerinden değerlendirilir ve Marksizmin devrimci ve bilimsel özüne uygun olarak geliştirilmesi olarak anlaşılır.
