डिको्रोमसिया या डिक्रोमैटॉप्सी आंशिक रंग का अंधापन को संदर्भित करता है जिसमें आंख के रेटिना में केवल दो प्रकार के शंकु सक्रिय होते हैं। इसलिए, डिक्रमोटॉप्सी वाले रोगी कुछ रंग अंतर नहीं बना सकते हैं। एक आम त्रुटि यह है कि रंग अंधापन कुछ रंगों को नहीं मानता है; वे विशिष्ट भेद नहीं बना सकते हैं जिस पर निर्भर करता है कि तीन प्रकार के पिन प्रभावित होते हैं, उनमें से एक प्रोटानॉपिया / प्रोटोनोमैली, ड्यूटेरियोनोपिया / डीयूटीरोनोमालि, और ट्रिटानोपिया / ट्रिटेनोमालि के बीच अंतर करता है। डिच्रोमसिया का इलाज नहीं किया जा सकता। इन प्रकार के रंग अंधापन जन्मजात हैं।

Als Dichromasie oder Dichromatopsie wird eine teilweise Farbenblindheit bezeichnet, bei der nur zwei Arten von Zapfen in der Retina des Auges aktiv sind. Daher können Patienten mit Dichromatopsie bestimmte Farbunterscheidungen nicht vornehmen. Ein verbreiteter Irrtum ist, dass Farbenblinde bestimmte Farben nicht wahrnehmen; sie können nur bestimmte Unterscheidungen nicht treffen. Je nachdem, welche der drei Zapfentypen beeinträchtigt sind, unterscheidet man Protanopsie/Protanomalie, Deuteranopsie/Deuteranomalie, und Tritanopsie/Tritanomalie. Dichromasie kann man nicht behandeln lassen. Diese Arten der Farbenblindheit sind angeboren.
