१. शिव का एक नाम
(को०) । २. वैधक में एक रस का नाम जो प्रायः ज्वरादि की
चिकित्सा में काम आता है ।
विशेष— इसके बनाने की यह रीति है — शुद्ध पारा और शुद्ध
गंधक की कजली, शुद्ध सिंगी मुहरा, सिंगरफ, सोंठ, काली
मिर्च, पीपल, भूना सुहागा, इन सबका चूर्ण कर भैगरैया के रस
में तीन दिन खरल कर आध आध रत्ती की गोलियाँ बनावे ।
एक गोली नित्य दस दिन पर्यंत खिलाने से खाँसी, क्षय,
संग्रहणी, संनिपात और मृगी के सब रोग नष्ट हो जाते हैं ।
